As promised, it’s time for early fall transitional outfits! This is the weird time of year when it starts to get a little cooler, but not it’s not fully autumn yet. You might be ready for pants or long sleeves, but not both. So, what I recommend is finding a balance. This outfit is the perfect example! I’m wearing wide leg jeans (yes, I am a major supporter of white after Labor Day), and a sleeveless top made of a sweater-like material. My shoes are close-toed, but open-back. I could easily add a cute jacket if I wore this at night or later in the season. Balance!
Also, can we talk about these jeans? I’ve worn wide leg work pants before, but not wide leg jeans. The key for me is a curve-flattering high waist and petite length. This combination is always harder to find, but it does exist!
Lots going on right now, but last night I went to a NYFW kickoff event. It was a networking wine and cheese night hosted by my friend Austen at French Cheese Board. These events are a little nerve-racking to me as an introvert with anxiety, but it was so nice to just have time to chat with other influencers. Being an introvert in this industry is hard, and it definitely holds me back. But, I’ve really been trying to put myself out there more and challenge myself to get outside my comfort zone.
