Workwear Refresh

I don’t know about you, but heading back to the office after so long made me realize I need a little workwear refresh. This dress is another Amazon The Drop find (like this one). It’s from an influencer collaboration with Jacey of Damsel in Dior. Her style is always so classic and chic, and that was my inspiration for this outfit. But, instead of a plain white button down, I opted for one with statement sleeves. This is not a dress style I usually go for, but I liked how polished it looks (even though it could have used a steam!)

This shoot with Lauren was only a few weeks ago, but it feels like forever. Seth is finally feeling better, and he’s going to daycare today for the first time in two weeks. We are so lucky to have our parents nearby, and they have been so incredibly helpful and supportive. The extra snuggles have been great too. But, I’m really looking forward to having a healthy baby and getting back into a routine. While I was a little wary of taking the subway again, I actually like having that time to myself on the days I go into work. As an introvert, I need those opportunities to recharge, and right now I’m running on empty. Being a parent means you’re pretty much always on, and that’s something I’m still getting used to.
