Autumnal

When I left the house in this outfit earlier this week, my husband told me I looked autumnal. I’m pretty sure he meant it as a positive thing, but regardless, I took it as a compliment. I love that plaid is one of the “in” patterns for fall. It’s so classic, but it can be re-imagined a million different ways. Here, I paired it with rich accessories. The dress was a Gap find last year, and the booties were one of my Marshalls’ scores from Project Fab. And, the bag was a birthday present. The color is perfect, I love the texture, and it’s from H&M. Yes, really.

This particular day, we had a building evacuation drill that “forced us” to walk to Bryant Park. I just had to squeeze in a few quick photos before heading back to work.
